Yo c&c, I like YOUR avatar.

Le château des Pyrénées is one of my favourite paintings.

I used it as my avatar here too, quite a while ago.

Snoring does kill... it's the not so silent, incredibly annoying, killer.

All from Dr. MLK Jr.'s Letter from a Birmingham Jail. : )

Such an attitude stems from a tragic misconception of time, from the strangely rational notion that there is something in the very flow of time that will inevitably cure all ills. Actually, time itself is neutral; it can be used either destructively or constructively.

So the question is not whether we will be extremists, but what kind of extremists we be. Will we be extremists for hate or for love? Will we be extremists for the preservation of injustice or for the extension of justice?

There can be no deep disappointment where there is not deep love.

Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. Never again can we afford to live with the narrow, provincial "outside agitator" idea.

i have to agree here. i can never get any sleep if i can hear someone snoring even slightly. this is why i'm reluctant to sleep in strange houses or in hotels.

did i say strange houses? why, i've never done that before... ;)
