For anyone alive in the 1950s/or knows about them

  I'm doing a project on the Beat generation. (In America, so remember in your replies to relate it to the USA somehow)so if anyone knows anything about/remembers anything about this let me know anything you think is cool about it. And what your favourite Beat peice was, and if you were into that scene or not, your experiences, etc.

he was a badass beat poet.
yeah, on the road by kerouac as well awesome.
i'm sure you're smart enough to be able to use google as well :P

It makes you wonder how old choke thinks we are, hiffer, when she asks about our memory of living as beats...cuz ya know damn well she had us in mind.

All I remember about living in the 50's is my mother's teet....and I've been tried to forget it ever since.
