My parents made me an NPR nerd.

I was just listening to Prairie Home Companion and they were broadcasting from Louisville, which of course made me think of Hif, which made me want to get online and post that fact. Now I'm here and I'll never know what Dusty and Lefty were up to this week. But that's okay.

Anyone else a Garrison Keillor fan?

I am, Kira. Went to see the show a few times live when I lived in St. Paul.

I used to listen to his show all the time. I also Liked Riders in the Sky.

Radiolab is one of the best things I've ever put into my ears. Their show on about the War of the Worlds is fantastic. "Detective Stories" is wonderful and "Salle Des Departs" is that terrible and wonderful mix of sadness and beauty that is grief.

Also This American Life is pretty awesome too.
