I saw him again last Sunday, The moment I'd been dreading for weeks, There was no earthquake, no flood, Just two people, a shelf, and some leeks.
For a minute I forgot our history, The heartbreak, the sorrow, the pain, With a bag of onions and a handful of sprouts, I felt myself dreaming again.
My mind wandered to memories, Moments drowning in you, But the illusion is shattered; I'm back in this world As I join the "10 items" queue.
Who is this illiterate person? A basket of 20 or more, I don't have to look, I already know, You're just as selfish as before.
