There is a rhythm to your life... to everyone's. Each one is different. It is determined by your genes... your DNA... and your environment. Assuming the universe expands and collapses upon itself, theoretically the decisions you make in this life... in this time... will repeat themselves for eternity. Some might say that your rhythm... your life... is predetermined. They'll want you to believe that your destiny is set in stone and there is nothing you can do about it except follow your own little path until you die... enjoying it while you can. Sounds like a fairly grim assessment to me, but what can I do about it? If my life... my rhythm... is already planned out... then everything I do will be expected... and can be predicted... like clockwork.

You see I have come to believe the only way we can truly control our own destiny... write our own plan... is to break the rhythm. Break it. Do something unexpected... unpredictable... with every step you take. Your predetermined soul expects you to follow a particular route. Surprise it. Destroy all the confines of normality until you can hear the rhythm that YOU want. Stop the clock... shatter the rules. Ask a friend to tell you something to do... anything... and do it wrong. Confuse... defy... train your brain to think differently while you still can... and then do it again... everyday. After all... if the rules are meant to be wrecked... if your path is supposed to be a roller coaster ride for the mind... so be it. And when insanity becomes sane... up is down... when pigs fly... when hell freezes over... when planets leave their orbits... you will have found the end of the path... and the beginning of your own. Confused? Great.
