When the world falls down around you, you can't let yourself fall too. You have to stay up, stay strong, no matter how hard it is, because if tomorow comes along and it's as bad as today and you've already given up... you're finished. You have to stay strong, stay in it, until you have nothing left, until every part of you just wants to give up and die. Once you reach that point, you can't go down any further. And when you surpass that feeling, you've won. You can beat anything and anyone, physically, emotionally, mentally, because you stayed strong until the dead last second. It has nothing to do with hope, or faith. It's all about getting through another day, and at the end of that day being able to tell yourself that no matter how bad that day was, it can get worse, and you're okay with that, because you know without a doubt, that you can make it through anything, and someday soon, the sun will rise again in the morning, and you're gonna be ok.
