A Dream

I asked my boss to loan me a little Money for the train When I got off the sky was dark And the streets were bright I ran home under lunar light For three seconds between pushing off And touching ground I hovered in the air While black sheep and ne'er-do-wells Watched me sternly from their stoops I wondered who was taking care Of the baby now My boss had sent me home He and his wife were still merry-making Suppose the baby was alone?
Could be rubbish, but I refuse to examine it.
