Today I was driving home and saw god in a cloud. I just looked up and thought I saw something there, someone, a person's head and torso, but when I focused it was gone. There was just a big rain cloud.

You'd think he'd be bigger, though, the way people talk about him. I always imagine the Christian god as the sky. Not just in the sky, but really encompassing the entire area over the Earth. Like someone who takes up the entire room with their presence and voice, and won't let anyone else in, no matter how many others may enter. Someone who always has to be the center of attention.

I really looked at this cloud. I swore I'd seen something. But it wasn't like the 'cloud game,' I couldn't find a pattern or impression no matter how I looked. It was much too big and far away.

It's funny how I talk to god sometimes, sometimes to people I've never met and have no notion of existing, whom I imagine to be far away and thinking of me too. Sometimes I cast spells. Last night I shared a joke with the moon and he smiled.

    I'm an atheist.
