I am lost and have been for sometime,
In the dark places caused,
By the memory of your eyes,
That staring at me all those years ago,
sealed my fate to you.
I readily accepted it
As we both set aside something called
consequence.
Time passes as do I,
Into obscurity we walk,
Holding hands across a million miles of thought,
And i for one wish i could fly,
Because i am at a loss here,
Staring at the masts of the ships,
The deep blue wash of the habour at night.
And the moon is pressed against the sky,
Like a thumprint on glass,
And i dream of comets,
That will shatter the heavens,
And allow me to be free again.
