A house with a window

There once was a house,
This lay on a beach.
The window reveals life’s secrets which u search.
Or just you’re past which prints lay right there.
I look threw the window,
To search what went wrong?
Why life brings such sorrow?
Why can’t I hear the same old song?
The window like the mirror in a fairytale,
Shows me the truth,
Shows me the wrong turns taken,
Shows me the choices I fail,
And what hearts and dreams I’ve forsaken.
I look deeper and deeper for the answers,
But to no avail.
I sit here awaiting infinity,
For my life’s ship to set sail.
