A streak of light,
On the sky of night.
A sparkle so bright,
In the lashless eyes.
A wince of pain,
and tears in vain,
A walk through life,
with a tresspasser's cane.
Though struggling along,
A journey of cries,
Smiling still there,
Was a hope in his eyes.
